Prolific’s Transphobia Policy

At Prolific, we won’t tolerate any type of harassment in our workplace in whatever shape or form. If someone at Prolific is confirmed to have harassed another employee, there will be serious consequences that could lead to termination or more seriously, criminal charges.

Our transphobia policy aims to protect our transgender employees from discrimination and gives guidelines on how to report transphobic behaviour. It applies to every person in our company regardless of gender, sexual orientation, level, function, seniority, status or other protected characteristics.

What is transphobia?

Transphobia is the fear, hatred, disbelief, or mistrust of people who are transgender, thought to be transgender, or whose gender expression doesn’t conform to traditional gender roles.

Disciplinary Action and Repeat Offenders

Employees who are found guilty of transphobia the first time will be reprimanded according to our disciplinary policy.
